ABOUT THIS FILM
About this film
Alien Double-X 120 B&W Film
Kodak Double-X (Eastman 5222) is a classic black-and-white motion picture film born in 1959. With an ISO of 250 (daylight) and ISO 200 (tungsten), it not only offers excellent sharpness, fine grain, and a vintage cinematic look, but is also frequently used in classic films such as "Casino Royale" and "Schindler's List"
- Excellent Environmental Adaptability: Originally designed for low-light environments, it allows photographers to capture rich shadow detail and subtle gradations without sacrificing depth of field.
- Base Characteristics: Features a gray acetate base with anti-static coating and lubrication.
- Development Recommendations: The manufacturer recommends using D-96 developer for optimal contrast and gradation, but it has extremely high latitude for pushing, delivering excellent results even when pushed to ISO 3200.
