Lucky 200 film reproduces reds exceptionally well, with an overall color cast that leans slightly toward red. However, in scenes without red, its performance in other colors remains excellent. This aligns with an old saying from decades ago: “Kodak leans yellow, Fuji leans green, and Lucky leans red.”

This stands in stark contrast to Fuji film, which is known for its pronounced cyan tones. Unlike the typically yellow cast of Kodak ColorPlus and GOLD film, Lucky 200 presents a distinctive rose-red cast. The reds it produces feel purer and more transparent . Lucky 200 has moderate grain—finer than Kodak ColorPlus 200, but not as fine as Japanese-made Fuji C200.
